The Transition to Psychology
Why does it continue? Because reason here exists only as certainty.
Spirit knows that its determinations are also those of the thing — but it has not yet carried this out. What this means in detail — intuiting, representing, thinking; feeling, willing, choosing — still remains to be shown.
Psychology is the carrying-out of this certainty. And the difference from the Phenomenology is thus specifiable: there it concerned the relation to the object, here it concerns the activities in which spirit determines itself.
