Pius Alexander Wolff

Pius Alexander Wolff (1782–1828) was an actor in Weimar, from 1816 at the Berlin theater, and also wrote plays himself.

Goethe had trained him; his acting was considered a model of the Weimar school with its measured, sculptural style of presentation. Hegel saw him perform in Berlin.
