Maurizio Canfora

Maurizio Canfora ist italienischer Diplomat. Seit 2023 ist er stellvertretender Generaldirektor für Europa und internationale Handelspolitik im Außenministerium in Rom.

Sein Interesse an Hegel reicht in die Jugend zurück, lange vor dem Studium der Politikwissenschaft. Der Kontakt zu hegel.net kam über die Seiten selbst zustande; aus dem Austausch wurde die Mitarbeit an der Hegel-Biographie, die er gemeinsam mit Kai Froeb verfaßt hat.

Seine Laufbahn führte ihn nach Perth, Luxemburg, Brüssel und Frankfurt am Main, bevor er in die Zentrale zurückkehrte.
