Karl Heinrich von Gros

Karl Heinrich von Gros (1765–1840) was a scholarship student in Tübingen, became a Magister in 1785, and studied in Jena in 1796, where he was friends with Niethammer and Schiller.
He belonged to the circle of former Tübingen students who kept Hegel, during his years in Bern, informed by letter of events in Germany — Niethammer, Hölderlin, Diez, and Schiller maintained the connection.
