Doctrine of Being
Hegel (First Part of the Logic)
The first main part of the Science of Logic: the doctrine of being. It is divided into quality, quantity, and measure. Being is immediate --- its determinations seem simply to be there.
Origin
Hegel's own division: doctrine of being (immediacy), doctrine of essence (reflection), doctrine of the concept (self-determination).
