Idealism

The philosophical position that reality is ultimately spiritual or conceptual in nature. Hegel advocates an "absolute idealism" that does not deny that matter exists (that would be "bad idealism," Ch. 5.4), but instead maintains that the structure of matter/reality itself is conceptual (rational) (Ch. 28.5, 29.1).
