Empiricism

The sphere of experience and sense perception. In empiricism, the sole source of knowledge (Chap. 1.2). In Hegelian logic, empirical experience is necessary but not sufficient; it must be structured by the concept. Empirical universality (all-ness/totality of instances) must be distinguished from conceptual universality (Chap. 10.8.C).
