Otherness

Otherness is that from which a determination distinguishes itself, but to which it remains related at the same time. It is the necessary negation through which something determines itself (see "Other," Ch. 1.8). The highest form of Logic is the return to self out of otherness (Ch. 1.11, 29.1).
