Friedrich Jakob Beck

Friedrich Jakob Beck (1772–1847) was a scholarship holder at the Tübingen Stift, became a Magister in 1792, and in 1799 a Repetent, later serving as pastor in Ebersbach an der Fils.

He belonged to Hegel’s cohort at the Stift — one of the names preserved by the correspondence, though nothing more can be said about the nature of their relationship.
