Karl Julius Moritz Seebeck

Karl Julius Moritz Seebeck (1805–1884) was the son of the physicist Thomas Johann Seebeck, a student of Hegel’s at the Nuremberg Gymnasium, and later his student again in Berlin.

He became curator of the University of Jena — one of the students who carried Hegel’s ideas on education into public office.
