Johann Matthias Gogel

Johann Matthias Gogel (1786–1849) was a son of Johann David Gogel and, after his father’s death in 1793, grew up in the house of his uncle Johann Noe.
He was one of the children Hegel tutored in Frankfurt — eleven years old when the private tutor arrived.
