Our Methodology (Basic Movement)

The **first basic movement** of thought: thought applies itself to itself. Logic is not merely a theory about determinations of thought, but enacts what it teaches. Performatively evident: whoever denies self-application enacts it in the very act of denying.

Origin

Hegel: logic is the presentation of God before the creation of the world --- it grounds itself. In our account, this is made explicit as the first basic movement.
