Being-Out-of-Itself

Our systematic framework (rendered as a technical term from Hegel's "aus sich" ["out of itself"])

Our designation for the highest dimension of self-relation — self-sublation. The system goes beyond itself **out of itself** (not through external mechanisms), generates something new, while preserving its identity in the process. The genus brings forth new generations out of itself. Self-sublation in a threefold sense: **preserving** (the genus/tradition remains), **overcoming** (the individual/the old form dies), **elevating** (the species/institution develops further). Continuity within transformation.

Origin

Hegel frequently uses "aus sich" adverbially (e.g., "aus sich herauszuwerfen" [to cast out of itself], "aus sich entlassen" [to release out of itself], "aus sich selbst tötet" [kills out of itself]), but not as the technical term "Aus-sich-Sein" ["Being-Out-of-Itself"]. We systematize this into the third dimension of self-relation, alongside Being-with-Itself and Being-for-Itself.
