Georg Friedrich Griesinger

Georg Friedrich Griesinger (1734–1828) served from 1766 as deacon at various churches in Stuttgart and from 1784 as town pastor at St. Leonhard.
He prepared Hegel for the entrance examination to the Tübingen Stift [the Protestant seminary in Tübingen]. In 1796 he published proposals for the reform of Württemberg — he was among the pastors who sought to strengthen the regional estates against ducal arbitrariness.
