Friedrich Theodor Vischer
Friedrich Theodor Vischer (1807–1887) taught aesthetics in Tübingen and Stuttgart.
His six-volume Aesthetics is an attempt to expand Hegel’s lectures into a full system. Vischer also wrote satires and the novel Auch Einer — the combination of systematic thought and mockery is rare and makes him one of the few figures of the school who are still read today.
